Contaminated Land Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contaminated Land Consultant to join our Environment & Health team in Manchester or Leeds. As a key member of our national team, you will be responsible for planning and supervising environmental and geo-environmental site investigations, assessing and interpreting soil and groundwater analytical data, and providing expert advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Phase 1 environmental site assessments
  • Phase 2 environmental and geo-environmental site investigations
  • Planning and supervising environmental and geo-environmental site investigations
  • Assessment and interpretation of soil and groundwater analytical data
  • Environmental risk assessments and detailed quantitative risk assessments
  • Interpretative report writing and client liaison
Requirements
  • Degree in geology, geography, or environmental discipline
  • Previous experience of planning and supervising environmental and geo-environmental site investigations
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Experience with IT packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Numerically competent
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
  • Competent and efficient report writing skills
