Head of Department Court of Protection

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our Court of Protection team. As Head of Department, you will be responsible for managing the team's performance, ensuring excellent client service, and driving business growth.
Main Responsibilities- Lead and develop the Court of Protection team to meet business objectives
- Ensure excellent client service and satisfaction
- Manage client cases and ensure compliance with external supervision requirements
- Provide inspirational leadership and coaching to team members
- Implement and monitor departmental plans to deliver business priorities
- Support budgeting and financial management for the Court of Protection team
- Lead the team in managing operational needs and working with the cost and finances team
- Coach and develop managers to achieve excellent people leadership practice
- Run a reduced load of circa. 25% of a full capacity numbers varying in value and technicality
- Liaise with clients, experts, barristers, third-party solicitors, insurers, and other experts as necessary
- Deal with all aspects of the lifecycle of the trust and deputyship matters
- Ensure all actions are completed in a timely fashion
- Accurate time recording
- Maintain client files in good order in accordance with Lexcel and other quality assurance requirements
