We are seeking a skilled Registered General Nurse to join our Centre for Clinical Haematology (CCH) team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing systemic anti-cancer therapies and supportive treatments.

  • Assess patients for chemotherapy, ensuring their physical condition and blood parameters are acceptable for treatment.
  • Administer and dispose of intravenous chemotherapy according to Trust and National guidelines.
  • Care for patients with haematology conditions, including those receiving Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatment (SACT).

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registered Adult Nurse status on the NMC Register.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and revalidation.
  • Previous experience in an acute secondary NHS care setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work flexibly, including nights and weekends.
