Why Rolls-Royce?

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our engine leasing business. Our engine leasing business is a core aspect of the aftermarket service we provide to our customers, and we require a professional to lead the financial management of this value stream.

The Leasing value stream within Civil Aerospace represents approximately £550m of cost per annum, covering financing, logistics, maintenance, and storage. This role will involve leading the team in running the finances of this value stream, reviewing and improving the way we transact our leasing costs across the business, and interfacing with other teams, including Engine Programmes, Business Development / Asset Financing, Financial Controller, and FP&A teams.

  1. Business partner for lease engine activity across the engine programmes teams and business development / asset financing team
  2. Leading team of two finance analysts
  3. Responsible for the team's management and statutory reporting deliverables
  4. Responsible for the team's financial planning and analysis deliverables
  5. Responsible for the team's completion of Rolls Royce Leasing accounts

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Accountant
  2. Experience in periodic reporting, budgeting, and forecasting and driving business performance
  3. Experience of process improvement projects
  4. Experience of influencing non-finance colleagues
  5. An understanding of Statutory accounts preparation (desirable)
  6. Interfacing with and management of external audit (desirable)

The professional level and salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
