**The Role**

This is an exceptional opportunity for a planning professional to join our dynamic London team as a Strategic Planning Consultant. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advising clients on complex planning issues, navigating the intricacies of planning law, and contributing to high-profile projects across various sectors.

  • Provide expert legal advice on planning law matters to clients, including local authorities, developers, and landowners, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and policies.
  • Draft and review planning applications, appeals, and related documents, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Conduct research and analysis on planning regulations and policies, staying up-to-date on changes in the law and emerging trends.
  • Represent clients in planning inquiries and hearings, presenting compelling arguments and evidence to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to develop strategies for securing planning permissions and addressing challenges.
  • Mentor junior associates and interns, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the team.
  • Participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences to enhance visibility and knowledge in the planning field.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualified associate with experience in planning law and strong understanding of UK planning legislation and procedures.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks effectively and meeting targets.

**Compensation Package**

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £80,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonuses. The salary is negotiable based on experience.
