Health Visitor

As a Health Visitor with the London Borough of Sutton, you will play a vital role in supporting the reduction of health inequalities for children, young people, and their families in our community. You will be responsible for delivering the Healthy Child Programme, assessing the health needs of our service users, and implementing tailored care packages to support their well-being.
Working collaboratively with children centre staff, GPs, Social Services, Family Support workers, and other partners, you will be an integral part of our team, working together to improve outcomes for our children. You will also have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in health visiting practice and managing enhanced caseloads.

You will be encouraged to submit articles related to innovation and evidence-based practice, and we pride ourselves on hearing staff voices in improving our service provision.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse or Midwife, registered as a Health Visitor, with experience in working in partnership across professional boundaries. You will also need to have a good understanding of the practice of safeguarding children and be able to work autonomously with high levels of self-motivation and in a team setting.
