Job Description

The successful Local Government Financial Expert will be responsible for providing expert financial support to the Education & Inclusion service at Westmorland and Furness Council. This involves consulting with managers on their financial needs, developing proposals to improve financial performance, and maintaining accurate accounting records.

You will also prepare financial statements, grant claims, and other reports within required deadlines. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
