English Language Educator Role at Sodexo

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate English language educator to empower prisoners with vital skills.

As an English language educator, you will inspire learners from diverse backgrounds, fostering their communication skills and helping them gain confidence for life beyond the prison walls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Education Manager and Hub Managers to design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to varying skill levels.
  • Apply a self-directed teaching methodology that encourages independence and critical thinking among learners.
  • Maintain a safe and secure learning environment in line with all relevant policies.
  • Assess individual learner needs and create differentiated strategies to address them.
  • Participate in team meetings to review progress, share feedback, and contribute ideas to enhance teaching practices.

Estimated salary: £28,500 per annum.

Requirements:
  • A recognized teaching qualification or working towards one.
  • Proven experience delivering English language education in a classroom setting.
  • A strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.
