Are you passionate about supporting the educational and personal development of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at an SEN College in Southport, Merseyside.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting both the educational and personal development of our students. Working alongside dedicated class teachers, they will assist in meeting the day-to-day needs of our pupils, ensuring they receive the support necessary to thrive in their learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with SEN in a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment
- Assisting teaching staff with lesson planning and delivery
- Providing individualized support to students to meet their unique needs
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and development
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective support system
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Clear DBS check and right to work in the UK
- A caring and compassionate approach to supporting students with SEN
