Financial Business Partner

Keeler Recruitment is working in partnership with Seatrium ORS Ltd to recruit a highly skilled and proactive Financial Business Partner. This role will focus on working closely with Profit Centre Managers to develop robust contract/project costing models, ensure accurate monthly updates, and support financial reporting and analysis.
A key element of the role will involve developing the financial structures and reporting systems to create efficiencies and scalable solutions in all day-to-day finance activities, capable of meeting the business's challenges and ambitions. The role therefore requires a sound understanding of consolidated accounts and system proficiency to deliver effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Profit Centre Managers to develop and update project costing models.
- Manage monthly financial deliverables to ensure projects remain on target.
- Review and manage all project and contract accruals.
- Create and maintain accounting policies (e.g. Revenue Recognition, Warranty Provisions).
- Lead the financial aspects of tender cycles, ensuring both financial and operational requirements are met.
- Work with legal teams to ensure contracts are compliant with financial and legal standards.
- Provide financial insight for company strategy and decision-making.
- Manage dynamic financial models for budgeting, P&L, and cash flow.
- Oversee monthly financial reporting and work with various stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Evaluate financial risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong background in a busy office environment interacting with management teams.
- Extensive experience in financial project delivery and business modelling.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
