As a Branch Support Security Officer with Securitas Security Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises in Edinburgh and its surrounding areas.
This is a full-time permanent position, working 48 hours per week, covering days, nights, and weekends. If you have a current SIA License, a full clean driving license, and access to your own vehicle, you may be the perfect fit for our team.
We are looking for an individual with excellent customer service skills, who can work seamlessly in a team and is proficient in written and spoken English. IT literacy is also essential for this role.
Responsibilities include:
- Meeting and greeting staff, visitors, and contractors in a professional and personable manner
- Delivering a consistently high-end customer-focused experience
- Responding appropriately to varying and fast-changing priorities
- Preventing and deterring unauthorized access to the site
- Monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV
- Conducting internal and external patrols and duties
- Maintaining all logbooks and records, ensuring all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion, and conducting effective handover procedures
- Recording and reporting all faults, health and safety hazards, and unsafe working practices to management
- During patrols, switching off unnecessary lights and closing windows
- Managing keys and performing locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
- Limited to covering around 5 sites
- Ensuring any equipment provided by the customer and Securitas is managed in accordance with procedures detailed in the Assignment Instructions
- To provide support, guidance, and information to all staff, visitors, and contractors while ensuring safeguarding of the premises
- Undertaking any other duties as requested by Management
