Join us as a Senior Foot and Ankle Fellow in Trauma & Orthopaedics at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.

This exciting role will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in Orthopaedics, working with a team of experienced surgeons and medical professionals.

The successful candidate will work primarily in the Orthopaedic Department at Llandough Hospital, a busy and progressive department that is part of the University Health Board.

Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care, and we are seeking individuals who share our values and commitment to excellence.

Required qualifications include MBBS or equivalent, FRCS/MRCS, and ATLS Provider. Desirable qualifications include an Intercalated Degree, MSc or PhD, Academic Excellence, and FRCS (T&O).

Previous experience in basic surgical training, middle-grade experience in trauma and Orthopaedics, and specialist training experience leading to FRCS (Orth) are essential. Desirable previous experience includes evidence of previous experience in trauma surgery, Basic and Advanced Trauma Courses, and audit, teaching, and research skills.

Estimated salary: £90,000 - £110,000 per annum.
