Technical Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to drive the strategic and operational goals of our client, a leading non-profit organisation within the UK insurance market. This role involves developing engaging technical content, curating a comprehensive technical library, and managing industry relationships to provide valuable resources for members.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Support: Assist the COO and Executive team in implementing the Association's strategy and business plan on schedule, supporting overall operational objectives.
  • Technical & Regulatory Member Support: Serve as a regulatory and technical resource for members, providing guidance on compliance and regulatory issues.
  • Membership Growth and Retention: Actively support initiatives to increase and maintain membership across all tiers, ensuring a strong and engaged community.
  • Standards and Knowledge Development: Develop a clear strategy to enhance technical knowledge and professional standards within the community.
  • Content Development: Curate and develop technical content for the Association's Program of Learning & Insight, forums, committees, and events, ensuring material is relevant and accessible.

Requirements:

  • Confidence and Accountability: Takes ownership of compliance and regulatory initiatives, confidently addressing and resolving complex issues independently.
  • Stakeholder and Relationship Management: Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, adept at building and maintaining relationships with members, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders.
  • Influence and Collaboration: Able to influence decisions and foster collaboration across teams, supporting regulatory best practices and industry alignment.
  • Exceptional Communication: Skilled in conveying complex regulatory and technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing, to varied audiences.
  • Organisational Skills and Methodology: Highly organised and methodical, capable of developing and managing comprehensive content libraries and MI reports.
  • Commitment and Professional Integrity: Displays a high level of integrity and professionalism, upholding our client's standards in all interactions.

Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
