About the Role


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Ynysybwl. As a key member of our educational staff, you will provide essential support to children with special educational needs, helping them to reach their full potential.



Key Responsibilities

• Assist pupils with special educational needs in the classroom
• Provide one-to-one and general support to pupils with additional needs
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
• Monitor and report on pupil progress, providing regular updates to teachers and other relevant staff

Requirements

• Experience working or volunteering with children with SEN
• Proactive work ethic and a patient, understanding attitude
• Ability to provide a range of support to pupils, including one-to-one and small group work
• Good understanding of special educational needs and the ability to apply this knowledge in a classroom setting
