Technical Manager Job Description

Müller UK & Ireland is a leading dairy company with a strong presence in the UK market. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join our team at our Droitwich Dairy site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Quality Agenda across the site, ensuring adherence to customer requirements and improving product quality.
  • Drive out waste and inefficiency while ensuring no impact on product quality, legality, or safety.
  • Collaborate with other teams to improve our business and support the team in demonstrating Continuous Improvement contribution through the Performance Development Process.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Quality Manager or Technical Manager in a similar FMCG role.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in a similar role, with a good technical knowledge of supermarkets' food safety requirements and systems.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, with a good knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques.
  • Proven skills in managing and developing a team, with a strong ability to work cross-functionally.
  • HACCP Level 4 and Food Safety Level 4 qualifications.
