Cleaner Role at St David's Hospice

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at St David's Hospice in Newport. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and security of the site, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and adhering to health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness throughout the site
  • Report any defects or issues to the Area Supervisor
  • Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the post
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with members of the public and clients
