Certain Advantage is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Validation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of suppliers and oversee the Industrial Validation Plan.
- Assess and validate the supply chain and suppliers' capability to meet our requirements.
- Conduct Industrial Validation activities, including Process FMEAs, Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) assessments, and Production Readiness Reviews.
- Identify and mitigate potential manufacturing and supply chain risks, and develop improvement and mitigation plans.
- Manage and validate elements of manufacturing capability transfer from in-house to supplier.
- Collaborate and support a multi-functional team.
- A Manufacturing Engineering biased professional with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques, and an appreciation for project delivery/project management.
- Experience in manufacturing or supplier quality in the Aerospace or Defence environments is desirable.
- Ability to support suppliers/customers to develop robust manufacturing systems and control plans, ensuring on-quality, on-time, and on-cost delivery in series production.
- New Product Introduction (NPI) and/or manufacturing capability transfer experience is ideal.
- Proficiency in Industrial Validation tools, including Process FMEAs, Measurement System Analysis, Process Mapping, Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) assessments, and Production Readiness Reviews.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to develop and implement root cause analysis and improvement plans within the Supply Chain for manufacturing system deviations.
- Excellent communication skills, requiring close working with Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality organizations.
