Job Title: Senior Physiotherapist

Nuffield Health Cardiff and Vale Hospitals are recruiting a dedicated and skilled Senior Physiotherapist to join our dynamic Physiotherapy team.



Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to take on a senior role in our Physiotherapy team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and contributing to the development of our Physiotherapy service.



Key Responsibilities:


  1. Deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessments, treatment, and education to patients with a range of musculoskeletal conditions, including post-operative cases.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practice and taking into account patient preferences and goals.
  3. Prepare and present treatment options to patients, using clear and effective communication skills.
  4. Conduct assessments and provide reports to medical staff, documenting patient progress and outcomes.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  6. Participate in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Nuffield Health standards.
  7. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.


Requirements:


  • Registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physiotherapist in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Advanced skills in manual therapy and manipulation techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
  • Knowledge of physiotherapy management systems and software.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
