About the Job Description:

We require a modelling specialist with expertise in hydraulic modelling software packages to deliver high-quality hydraulic modelling to support nature-based solutions, FCERM scheme design, flood risk assessments, and drainage design.

You will work closely with our existing team, which includes a Director, AD, Consultant, Consultant, and Graduate Consultant.

Responsibilities:
  • Delivering hydraulic modelling to support nature-based solutions and FCERM scheme design.
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Writing and reviewing technical reports.
  • Championing technical innovation to improve efficiency and quality of delivery.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience of 1D or 2D hydraulic modelling software packages for flood risk and/or environmental management purposes.
  • Experience of flood risk management techniques and methods including option appraisals.
  • A working knowledge of UK hydrological methodologies and flood risk management policy.
  • Project Management experience.
Benefits:
