About the Role

As a key member of our Project People team, you will play a vital role in shaping our Network Security strategy and architecture.

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to develop and implement a comprehensive security architecture that meets the needs of our business and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and communicate a multi-year Network Security strategy across all network domains, aligning with business and operational requirements.
  • Translate strategy into a comprehensive security architecture, designing secure systems that meet immediate and future business needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of cyber security and network trends, evaluating emerging technologies from an operational perspective.
  • Partner closely with RAN, Transport, Core, and OSS strategy and architecture teams, IT architecture, Technical Services, Information Security, and Regulatory functions to meet business needs.
Requirements
  • Strong experience working in Cyber Security within a telecoms mobile network environment.
  • Awareness/understanding of the Telecom Security Act (TSA) and associated Code of Practice and what this means for the mobile operator.
  • Experience in managing and leading teams.
  • Strong experience in elaborating strategies and roadmaps and translating them into high-level architecture designs.
  • Must be able to work at multiple levels within the organization from technical delivery to senior management.
  • Well-versed in the application of security policies and standards, governance, compliance, risk management, and technical assurance practices.
  • Should have experience of using common information security management frameworks, such as NIST, PCI, GDPR, ISO Series, OWASP, the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), the ISF Standards of Good Practice (SoGP), and ISACA's Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (COBIT) frameworks.
  • Good knowledge of OSS, RAN, Core, Transmission/Transport, IP, cloud infrastructure, and end-to-end services.
  • Experience dealing with and managing Telco and non-Telco vendors.
  • Experience developing financial budgets and prioritizing.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
