Physiotherapist Functional Assessor Opportunity

Maximus is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to assess individuals with disabilities or health conditions, providing detailed reports to support benefit claims.

About the Role

As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor, you will conduct thorough assessments, gathering information about an individual's daily life and how their condition affects them. Your reports will be used to inform benefit decisions, helping individuals access the support they need.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments via telephone, video, or face-to-face to understand an individual's condition and its impact on daily life
  • Produce detailed reports to support benefit claims, using your clinical expertise to inform your findings
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills through regular feedback and supervision
Requirements
  • Valid HCPC registration number
  • At least 1 year of post-registration experience in a relevant setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
