Job Details

The Music Market is seeking a Temporary Marketing Assistant to support the Home Entertainment team. This role will involve managing the enquiry inbox, acting as a key point of contact for premiere and social events, and liaising with trade magazines and departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the enquiry inbox and serve as a first point of contact with the general public.
  • Act as a key point of contact for the Department in the management of premiere and social events.
  • Liaise with trade magazines and keep all agencies and departments up to date with release information and news.
  • Support the department with effective information sharing regarding release information, creative assets, research and reports.
  • Manage release schedule information, metadata databases and other important team documents.
  • Manage asset uploads, liaise with sales teams regarding release information, and monitor online and digital service supplier information to ensure release details are accurate.
  • Update the company's website with new release products, packshots, update copy and new information.
  • Provide support to Product Managers; check packaging copy and marketing materials, competitor analysis, assist with design and artwork.
  • Brief PR agency with activity as appropriate.
  • Evaluate and propose drafting and seasonal opportunities.
  • Support Product Managers with pre-order tracking and Amazon activity.
  • Create retail PowerPoint presentations for quarterly meetings.
  • Manage and track stock orders for all parties, including management, sales agents and other key stakeholders.
  • Assist the Marketing team with administration that covers purchase orders, travel, meeting arrangements, and expenses.
  • Provide support for digital transactional commercial team as required.
  • Support with reporting requirements, weekly sales report, and monthly sales tracker for Competitor DTV Acquisitions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar position, ideally within the Entertainment/Film industry.
  • Knowledge and interest in film, engaged in film entertainment.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and project management skills.
  • Excellent numerical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident and clear communicator.
  • Able to work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
