Role Summary
Ashdown Group is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join their team in Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing bookkeeping and accountancy functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage bookkeeping and accountancy functions, including HMRC and statutory filings.
  • Develop and maintain financial systems and processes.
  • Prepare and submit VAT and CIS returns.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations and audits.
  • Provide financial support to the Finance Director.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in bookkeeping and accountancy, with experience using MS Office, particularly Excel. Sage experience is desirable but not necessary. You will also need to be highly organized, able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits:
