Investment Writer/Financial Journalist

The Xtrackers Marketing team is seeking a skilled Investment Writer/Financial Journalist to join their team in London. As an Investment Writer, you will be responsible for developing and leading our marketing strategy and tactics for Xtrackers Product and Sales areas. You will work closely with all other marketing & communications functions to define and constantly update the narrative, messaging, relevant channels and formats for our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage and maintain ETF related content across a broad array of marketing vehicles to support research and sales efforts for both the institutional and wholesale/retail distribution channels.
- Work closely with key knowledge experts to produce additional new ETF focused content.
- Contribute in marketing meetings and be involved in producing marketing content on an ad hoc basis to help communicate the business objectives to external audience.
- Produce and distribute content to current clients and prospects in the form of email communications, investment idea paper, website copy and more.
- Work collaboratively with Compliance in order to make content materials available for use by key stakeholders in accordance with the latest regulatory rules and regulations.
About You:
A suitable candidate should possess the following core competencies:
- Proven experience as an Investment Writer or financial/economic journalist covering the EMEA markets.
- Solid understanding of the investment management industry, across all multiple asset classes and channels.
- Solid knowledge of ETF markets and good ETF product understanding across asset classes.
- Excellent financial writing skills with the ability to be flexible in your writing style, and writing experience within the financial services industry. Ability to write compelling product marketing copy.
- A strong communicator who is able to operate at all levels in the organization and across cultural boundaries.
- Works well under pressure with ability to meet tight deadlines. Can easily coordinate and find the nexus between multiple teams (particularly Compliance, Design and Digital) with the ability to quickly prioritize.
