Electrical Maintenance Engineer Vacancy

We are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Grays, Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM service provider and be part of a dynamic maintenance team.



About the Role

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with C&G / NVQ level 2 & 3 and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. They will be required to carry out M&E/Fabric planned and reactive maintenance in a team of 3 on an estate responsible for all the landlord services.



Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:



  • Lighting maintenance, including installation, fault-finding, and repair
  • Emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
  • Air conditioning maintenance, including air handling units and fan coil units
  • Chiller maintenance and reset
  • Pump and motor maintenance
  • Water treatment, including temperature checks and dosing
  • Plumbing maintenance, including unblocking toilets and changing taps
  • BMS system monitoring
  • UPS system monitoring and data collection
  • General building fabric maintenance
  • Escorting subcontractors


Working Hours

The working hours for this role are continental day shifts, with options for early or late shifts. The successful candidate will be required to work a rotating shift pattern, including nights and weekends.



Package and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, up to £40,000 per annum, plus overtime. They will also be entitled to 20 days annual leave + bank holidays, a pension, excellent benefits package, internal and external training courses, and genuine career progression.



Requirements

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must:



  • Be electrically qualified, with a minimum C&G / NVQ level 2 & 3
  • Have a proven track record in commercial or property maintenance
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Be honest, hardworking, and reliable
  • Be willing to participate in the site 'call out' rota
