Independent Visitor Opportunity

We are seeking adult volunteers to establish long-term relationships with children and young people in care.

As an Independent Visitor, you will meet with a child or young person about once a month to spend time together, have fun, and provide a positive influence in their life.

This role is ideal for individuals who are willing to travel and commit to a two-year period, providing consistency and stability for the young person.

Before becoming an Independent Visitor, you will undergo references and checks, including a DBS check, and complete a two-day training programme and safeguarding training.

You will be provided with ongoing support and supervision to ensure you are equipped to make a positive impact in the life of the young person.

This opportunity is available in various locations, including Braintree, Colchester, and Tendring.

By becoming an Independent Visitor, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a child or young person in care.

We are looking for volunteers who are willing to be a positive influence and provide guidance and support to a young person in need.

As an Independent Visitor, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to providing support and care to children and young people in need.
