The Role: As a Haemodialysis Consultant at King's College Hospital, you will play a vital role in our haemodialysis and CKD/general nephrology services, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and drive service improvement. You will be responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures, and guidelines that ensure best practices and optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Leadership: Lead a team of medical staff, providing expert guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure excellent patient care and departmental performance.
  • Service Development: Develop and implement strategies to improve patient flow, reduce waiting times, and enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Traing and Education: Design and deliver training programs for junior medical staff, focusing on skills development, patient safety, and evidence-based practice.
  • Research and Innovation: Collaborate with colleagues to design and conduct research studies, quality improvement initiatives, and audit programs that advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes.
  • Communication and Engagement: Foster strong relationships with patients, families, carers, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, respect, and empathy in all interactions.

Salary and Benefits: This role offers a salary range of £114,000 - £123,119 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as pension scheme, annual leave, and professional development opportunities.
