As a Network Planning Strategist, you will play a critical role in shaping this vision by leading the development of short to long-term strategies for our UK Retailer Network.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ongoing network planning, combining retailer performance and financial analysis with geo-demographic profiling to provide insights and support recommendations on future business changes.

This includes:

  • Network planning for volume, type, and location of retailers and owners
  • Analysis and research, including location and Retailer AOI (area of influence) change management
  • Primary user for the network analysis tool and key contact for the tool's supplier
Key Responsibilities

You will be required to manage holistic '360-degree' performance management data consolidation, develop and maintain KPI dashboards, and focus on simplification and automation of data provision and reporting.

Additionally, you will:

  • Manage the BMW and MINI Retailer of the Year award schemes
  • Lead periodic strategic reviews of owner and outlet performance to guide the Management Committee on future network partners/locations
  • Coordinate activities to ensure minimum operational impact during retailer ownership/closures/openings changes
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and solutions supporting network planning and review
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with:

  • Graduate-level qualifications, ideally with professional accountancy/statistical/analytical certifications
  • Proven commercial experience within a retailer environment or manufacturer experience in a retailer-facing role
  • High standards of communication skills
  • Experience in analysing data, planning, and forecasting
  • Expert-level knowledge of data management and manipulation
