About the Role

Kennedys is seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance Auditor to join our team. As a key member of our Risk and Compliance department, you will provide expert information, advice, and guidance to the Firm on professional responsibility, risk, and compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the requirements of the KRM client audit programme for global platinum and global development clients.
  • Produce high-quality written audit reports and assist in the monitoring and completion of corrective actions.
  • Discuss KRM client audit requirements and audit findings with team leaders and partners throughout the business.
  • Assist in the delivery of an effective audit process relevant to the ISO 9001 Quality Management accreditation for all UK and overseas offices.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of existing internal audit processes within the relevant audit system.
  • Participate in due diligence processes where it relates to internal or external audit activity.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience of legal file management.
  • Current or previous supervisory, peer review experience or completion of file audit would be ideal.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proven organisational skills with a proactive attitude.
  • Proven ability to deal with confidential matters with discretion.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
