We are seeking a Volunteer Retail Coordinator to help us secure stock donations from shops, local businesses, and community venues. As a member of our retail team, you will play a vital role in raising funds for our services, which include community support, specialist nurses, advice, information, education, and peer support.

About the Role

This is a home-based volunteering opportunity that allows you to engage with your local community while making a real difference to people in Scotland who are isolated, scared, or anxious about their condition.

  • You will be responsible for approaching people, engaging with them, and securing stock donations.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to keep accurate records are essential.

Reasonable out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed. This role is subject to a Basic Disclosure check, and we aim to ensure no volunteer is unfairly treated on the grounds of an offending background.

What We Offer

We believe everyone has the right to live life to the full following a chest or heart condition, Long Covid, or a stroke. Our retail team is vital in helping us achieve this goal.

As a Volunteer Retail Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills, make great friends, and contribute to a meaningful cause. You can choose your availability and time slots, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, Monday to Sunday.

Estimated Salary: £12-15 per hour (dependent on experience). Volunteers aged 18-25 taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
