About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team in Slough. As an Outreach Recovery Worker, you will work closely with rough sleepers, vulnerable, and complex clients to provide support and guidance in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of clients, undertaking assessments and developing person-centered recovery plans
  • Provide specialist substance use outreach support, including early morning and late-night shifts
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams, including housing, mental health, and medical staff
  • Conduct clinical risk and needs assessments, and write reports and maintain accurate records
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Experience of working with rough sleepers, in a housing, health care, or substance use context
  • Training in delivering effective brief interventions on drug and alcohol use and harm reduction
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • A deep personal commitment to inspiring the possibility of recovery in others
