Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering data management services and systems that support healthcare professionals in improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Software Development
    • Design and develop software applications that meet the needs of our customers.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders to co-create and achieve common goals.
    • Participate in agile development methodologies to ensure timely delivery of software projects.
  • Front-end Development
    • Update and modernize existing user-facing applications to ensure scalability, maintainability, security, aesthetics, and usability.
  • Back-end Development
    • Design and develop the business logic of software applications, ensuring data and services are available as required.
    • Develop and maintain core databases, data, and application program interfaces (APIs) to other back-end processes.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills
    • Experience in Java 8+ and Java SE.
    • Proficiency in PostgreSQL 14+.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Desired Skills
    • Knowledge of NHS and Primary Care clinical systems.
    • Linux/Unix.
    • Healthcare Interoperability Standards (HL7v2).
    • OIDC & OAuth 2.
    • PL SQL.
    • Packaged libraries (Packaged via nexus) and managed by the host application by injecting data and by through application settings.
