Parts Advisor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Parts Advisor to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a Parts Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our parts function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and support to customers regarding parts inquiries.
  • Assist customers in identifying parts, providing prices, and checking availability.
  • Prepare and process parts orders for picking, collection, and delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels according to established processes.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless departmental operations.
  • Advise customers on the best value options for service parts.
  • Place orders using the manufacturers' systems.
  • Maintain close communication with service engineers, internal departments, suppliers, and customers to update them on parts requests.
  • Process parts invoices and allocate them to jobs for service counter and trade sales.
  • Conduct stock checks and audits, resolving any discrepancies internally or with suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Parts Advisor role would be advantageous.
  • Ability to answer incoming calls and emails for enquiries.
  • IT literacy.
  • Technical ability in product/part knowledge would be a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with objection handling.

Benefits:

  • Salary: £20,000 - £28,000.
  • Working hours: 08:00 - 17:30, Monday to Friday.
  • 21 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.
