We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. As an Inpatient Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting working-age adults with mental health needs across our hospitals in Gloucester and Cheltenham.
Key Responsibilities- Act as an inpatient social worker for working-age acute/recovery inpatients admitted to psychiatric hospitals across Gloucestershire.
- Work collaboratively with other professions and care sectors to find solutions to complicated needs and troubles.
- Ensure clear communication is maintained and work efficiently to provide care.
- Knowledge of the Care Act, mental health, and mental capacity acts are essential to ensure that processes and procedures are followed and safe and best outcomes are measured.
- Role model and/or tutor juniors/students.
We are looking for an individual with:
- Experience in social care, particularly with working-age adult social care.
- Knowledge of mental health and the ability to work with individuals with complex needs.
- Leadership experience and the ability to role model and/or tutor juniors/students.
