Software Development Engineer

Williams Racing is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Digital Performance Technologies (DPT) department. As a key member of our Aero Performance team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a suite of data analysis tools to support our on-track performance and aerodynamic correlation across simulation environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop software solutions to analyze and visualize data from various sources, including track, wind tunnel, and CFD environments.
- Collaborate with our performance and data science groups to deliver complete software solutions that meet the needs of our team.
- Develop and maintain a suite of data analysis tools, including graphical tools using MATLAB, Python, and Julia.
- Work with our aero performance and trackside aero groups to research, develop, and implement innovative software solutions.
- Contribute to the analysis of data across track, wind tunnel, and CFD environments.
- Collaborate with other software groups in the company to enhance and develop the shared data platform and services.
- Degree in Computer Science, Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven track record of developing software following agile or similar working practices.
- Background or experience in data science, aerodynamics, vehicle dynamics, or computer simulations.
- Knowledge of modern web technologies, such as React, and database technologies, including SQL Server, MySQL, and NoSQL.
