We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to lead our Adult Mental Health Care team in North East London.

The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide senior medical support and guidance, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care across various settings.
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of adults with mental health needs, working collaboratively with colleagues, external providers, and families to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide senior medical leadership to the Adult Mental Health Care team, ensuring excellent patient care and high-quality services.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, collaborating with colleagues, patients, and families to achieve desired outcomes.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care across various settings, including community, acute, and rehabilitation services.
- Liaise with external providers, stakeholders, and agencies to ensure seamless service delivery and effective partnerships.
- Maintain accurate records, adhering to NHS standards and guidelines.
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
- CCT or equivalent in Psychiatry.
- Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it.
- Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it.
- Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST.

Location: Barking Community Hospital, Upney Lane, Barking, Essex, IG11 9LX.
Salary InformationThe salary for this position is approximately £120,000 - £140,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus a Category A on-call supplement.
