Job Description

Flexible People Ltd is currently recruiting Class 2 Home delivery drivers for a well-known client based in Southampton.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a multi-national organization with the potential for growth and opportunities.

The role involves working with a Drivers Mate to deliver large goods to residential properties. The type of goods you will be delivering include TVs, flat-pack furniture, gym equipment, and white goods.

Due to the weight of the products you are delivering, you MUST be physically fit.

The company offers the customer a 'room of choice' delivery, and you will be fully trained on how to do this.

Upon successful application, all new drivers are subject to a driving assessment and multiple-choice highway code/tacho exam. This will then be followed by a subsequent induction day.

The company operates 7 days a week, and you will be offered a 5 or 6-day rota. Weekend work will be involved.

Shift timings are 06:00 start, and shifts last roughly 8-10 hours.

Pay rate: £16.00 inclusive of holiday pay.

After 13 weeks, you can be offered a contract directly with the company. Once you become a full-time member of staff, you will be entitled to an award-winning range of benefits, including:

  • Reliable and organized
