We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Digital Systems Engineering to lead our team of engineers in developing, implementing, and maintaining workplace technology solutions. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the technical direction and success of our assigned solutions, ensuring they meet functional, performance, security, and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Own and drive the technical direction and success of assigned solutions
- Use personal experience and an innovative approach to support and plan for growth within Systems Engineering and translate it into a technology and team roadmap
- Develop strategies to mitigate potential risks that could impact system availability and functionality
- Guide difficult decision-making processes and help the team to reach consensus
- Drive innovation through transformation and Continual Service Improvement
- Proficient in spoken and written English and comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders as well as engineers
- Willing to challenge others as well as yourself, and take appropriate risks
- Able to impact, as well as adapt your approach to connect with, respond to, and persuade others across your business unit through influence
- Familiarity with business and financial principles, including managing budgeting and forecasting
- Good understanding of translating the maintenance cost of any services in engineering, analyzing, exploring, and identifying opportunities to reduce maintenance costs
