Job Title: Gritter Drivers

Manpower Belfast is partnering with a large public sector client to source On Call Gritter Drivers for winter months. These positions will be based at the Newry depot.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work on an on-call, rotational basis (2 weeks out of every 3)
  • Grit roads between October and April during ice/snow conditions
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Drive vehicles safely
  • Follow route maps to ensure roads are fully gritted
Working Hours:

On-call basis between 12pm to midnight and midnight to 12pm, including weekends. Rest week every third week.

Requirements:
  • Class C Licence
  • CPC Card
  • Available to work at short notice on a 24/7 basis
Desirable Criteria:
  • Previous gritting experience
