Job Title: Structural BIM Technician

Foster + Partners is seeking a highly skilled Structural BIM Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Structural Group, you will be responsible for carrying out structural information modeling and drawing production on projects at all design stages from Concept to Construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed structural models using BIM software, particularly Revit.
  • Produce high-quality 2D drawing sheets based on design information in the 3D BIM model.
  • Collaborate with project teams and external organizations to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of images and other documents related to the design.
  • Stay up-to-date with Foster + Partners procedures and standards.

Requirements:

  • Legally able to work in the UK.
  • Experience working in a structural engineering practice, including design and delivery of structural information on complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of BIM, particularly Revit.
  • Excellent verbal and graphical communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Results-driven, resourceful, self-motivated, and willing to take responsibility.
