General Manager Opportunity
T2M Resourcing is working closely with a Facilities Management business to help them recruit a new General Manager. As the General Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the business's operations and customer interactions, with the goal of stepping into the Managing Director's shoes as they transition out of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Performance: Ensure the business's profitability and growth.
- Service Delivery: Oversee and maintain high levels of service delivery, taking a proactive approach to visiting clients to ensure they are satisfied with service delivery.
- Contract Growth: Develop and grow the existing contracts and portfolio.
- Staff Development: Train and develop staff across the business.
- Subcontractor Management: Manage and coordinate subcontractors and their performance as required.
Requirements:
- Business Experience: Proven experience of running a business or division with full P&L responsibility.
- Industry Experience: Relevant industry experience essential, with experience working for a reactive FM/M&E type business.
- Operational and Commercial Management: Experience in both operational and commercial management.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills, confident communicating internally and externally with customers at all levels.
- Adaptability: Able to adapt and be responsive and flexible to changing business environments.
