Job Title: Production Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Production Team Lead to join our team at Mars Wrigley Plymouth. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading a team of production operators and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of production operators to achieve production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the scheduling department to plan and coordinate production schedules.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of production data and quality control metrics.
  • Identify and address any safety or quality issues that may arise during production.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Work closely with the production technical operator to resolve any technical issues that may arise.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft-based systems and SAP literacy is desirable.
