About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to lead our Inspiration Centre. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leadership in alternative provision and a passion for supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • ">
  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote student progress and well-being;">
  • Leading assemblies and daily Read-Aloud sessions to foster a love of learning;">
  • Collaborating with specialists to support vulnerable pupils;">
  • Coordinating 1:1 restorative conversations and reflection time to promote social skills;">
  • Maintaining detailed records of meetings and discussions;">
  • Promoting the school's ethos and mission;">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience;">
  • Leadership experience in alternative provision for secondary school children;">
  • Knowledge of strategies for supporting pupils with specific SEND needs;">
  • Familiarity with developing Individual Education Plans and literacy strategies;">
  • Strong communication, ICT, and teamwork skills;">
  • Effective classroom and behavior management skills;">

Salary

The salary for this role is £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
