Job Title: Busway Safety Officer

Estimated salary: £19,290 per annum based on 30 hours per week.

About the Role

This is a temporary position as an interim Busway Safety Officer working with Cambridgeshire County Council to ensure busway safety.

The successful candidate will conduct daily and monthly inspections of the busway and vehicles, identifying defects, hazards, and maintaining accurate records to control measures and risk removal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect all aspects of the Busway infrastructure and vehicles for defects and hazards, ensuring control measures are in place and followed.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Safety Officer to implement corrective actions and enhance overall safety standards.
  • Establish strong relationships with contractors, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and service delivery.
