Hotel Director

We are looking for a skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our 152-bedroom Victorian four-star hotel in Torquay. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the business strategy and achieving commercial goals while maintaining exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a hotel General Manager in a similar style property, with strong leadership and commercial skills. You will also be charismatic and engaging, able to motivate and develop your team to deliver great results.

Our hotel is a stunning 19th Century building with breathtaking sea views, offering a range of leisure facilities and a convenient location near the main train station and town centre. We offer competitive pay, plus service charge and tips, as well as a range of perks through our Perkbox platform.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving sales and revenue, balancing costs against targets
• Providing day-to-day leadership and motivating the team
• Analyzing and managing the hotel's PnL to success
• Developing and leading the people culture of the property

Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
