About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MP&L Manager to lead our MP&L activities and supply chain efficiency at our Minworth facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a high-performing team and implementing strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement MP&L strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs
  • Lead a team of MP&L professionals to achieve business objectives and improve operational performance
  • Monitor and analyze MP&L operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies and plans
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, clients, and stakeholders
  • Compile and analyze data to inform business decisions and drive performance improvement
  • Problem-solve complex issues and implement effective solutions
  • Work closely with IT to develop and maintain warehouse management systems
  • Delegate tasks effectively and set SMART objectives and goals for the team
  • Ensure accurate recording of accidents and incidents and completion of relevant documentation
  • Deliver customer requirements in line with DP World standards of customer service
  • Ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Perform performance management of staff, including appraisals and learning and development plans
  • Manage stock levels to meet customer requirements and maintain warehouse bond
  • Champion equality and diversity within the warehouse

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in leadership roles
  • Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
  • Understanding of advanced business planning and data analysis
  • Solid grasp of performance metrics and problem-solving skills
  • Degree in an applicable subject or Level 5 or above apprenticeship
