About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solicitor to provide legal support for our Plug Me In business unit during a 12-month maternity cover. As a key member of our legal team, you will handle complex contracts and commercial transactions, supporting our business with strategic decisions and day-to-day requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise the business on complex contracts and commercial transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial contracts related to the Plug Me In business unit, leveraging your expertise in corporate and commercial law.
  • Research and provide legal support for new asset sectors and transaction structures, staying up-to-date with industry developments and trends.
  • Draft intra-group documents, such as consent letters, minutes, and resolutions for corporate transactions, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Supervise and provide support to paralegals/trainees within the legal team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate, demonstrating a strong understanding of corporate and commercial law.
  • At least 4 years of post-qualified experience in private practice, advising on corporate or commercial transactions, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Willingness to travel to other business locations when needed, with a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
