About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Solicitor to join our Construction and Engineering team at Mills & Reeve. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality legal advice to our clients in the construction and engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients on construction and engineering projects, including drafting and negotiating contracts, and advising on dispute resolution.
  • Work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of our construction and engineering practice, including identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with our team to deliver high-quality legal services to our clients, including drafting and reviewing contracts, and advising on regulatory compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in construction and engineering law, and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice to our clients.
Requirements
  • 5+ years PQE in construction and engineering law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
