We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Police Custody Nurse or Paramedic to join our team at Care & Custody - A Mitie Company. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality healthcare services to detainees in our custody suites, working closely with the Police to ensure their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care and support to detainees in our custody suites
  • Work collaboratively with the Police to ensure the safety and well-being of detainees
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £40,000 per year
  • A £1,000 bonus after completing 12 months of service
  • A rolling rota pattern of 4 shifts on and 4 shifts off, with opportunities for overtime
  • NMC/HCPC registration paid
  • Full training provided for those without previous forensic experience

Person Specification

  • Driving Licence (required)
  • Must be a UK resident for 3 years + no gaps out of country more than 3 months
  • All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting
  • RN, RGN or (RMN with dual registration): 2 years post qualification - Band 5 minimum
  • Paramedic 2 years post qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant field
