Dovetail and Slate is a renowned educational establishment committed to shaping the future of Hairdressing. We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Hairdressing Tutor to cover on an ongoing basis.

About the Role

We're looking for a talented educator with a passion for Hairdressing and Barbering. As a tutor, you'll deliver engaging and high-quality lectures and demonstrations to students studying Hairdressing on level 2 and 3 courses.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive course material that aligns with the curriculum objectives.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to facilitate their academic development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve the curriculum, incorporating the latest industry trends and advancements.

Requirements:

• A level 3 in Hairdressing and/or Barbering and relevant industry or education experience.
• Prior teaching or training experience is desirable.
• A teaching qualification is advantageous but not essential – Experience will also be considered.
